COMMERCIAL PROJECT MANAGER | LOCATION LINZ

What are your responsibilities at VACE?

In VACE Systemtechnik I am responsible for two very interesting areas.
On the one hand, I look after VACE's technical office and am responsible for the commercial processing of projects. I find a lot of variety in the many national and international projects that the permanent staff works on, sometimes with the help of international experts, because each project is also very different on the commercial side.

On the other hand, I am responsible for drawing up contracts for work and services, which I use to link international experts with workplaces around the world. Here, the focus is on the tax issues, which are different in every country. The challenge is to ensure that all the formalities of the contract for work and services are correctly adhered to, in order to ultimately guarantee a smooth, commercial process.

What do you value most about your work?

It's the variety I mentioned that I find interesting and that I always find anew at VACE: every situation has to be considered and implemented individually.
Above all, I appreciate the challenge of being able to delve into issues, to make decisions and to keep learning new things.
The day-to-day work is lightened up by sincere, personal contacts with the business partners, which promote cooperation on a basis of trust.

It is important to me to have found a lively workplace here at VACE that responds to new or changed circumstances and is accordingly changeable.

I see being able to do my work without rigid structures and exact specifications, but rather relying on personal responsibility, trust and mutual respect, as a big plus. The managers act as equals, there is a productive cooperation that is incredibly motivating. All of these conditions create an extremely collegial, positive working atmosphere characterized by mutual respect.

How do you rate your work-life balance?

My activities mean that the beginning of the month is always intense due to the pending closings. After that, I can take a more relaxed approach to the work processes and take the time needed for the often complex processes.
For my personal balance, exercise is very important to me. When spending time in nature or enjoying a delicious meal with friends, relaxation is pre-programmed.
Also, a private change of scenery by staying in different interesting places usually brings new ideas and, above all, a good mood.
