RECRUITING CONSULTANT |LOCATION WELS

What are your responsibilities at VACE?

I am responsible for recruiting in the HR Consulting department at the VACE site in Wels. Every day, I review new and existing applicant profiles, conduct virtual or face-to-face interviews and search specifically for suitable job offers for our candidates. At the same time, I am in contact with our customers and record new inquiries, create corresponding job advertisements and publish them on various channels. In active sourcing, I search outside our own database specifically on other platforms for exciting applicant profiles. Together with my colleagues, I also represent our company at various career fairs and events.

What do you value most about your work?

What I particularly appreciate about my job is that we act as a team at VACE.

Of course, everyone has his/her own area of responsibility, but the boundaries become very blurred. With us, the left hand always knows what the right hand is doing - thanks to ongoing coordination (also between the locations), we can respond to customer inquiries at short notice and in a targeted manner, while at the same time presenting our candidates with a broader range of interesting offers.

How do you rate your work-life balance?

Flexible working is actually practiced here - for example, we have the option of spending half of our working hours in home office. Furthermore, I can arrange and organize my working day myself, which is further underlined by our flexitime arrangement. This is very helpful to me as an employee in my day-to-day work - at the same time, our applicants also benefit from this, as I can also offer appointments at rather unusual off-peak times.
